Enum Constant and Description
OFF Disable Istio RBAC completely, any other config in RbacConfig will be ignored and Istio RBAC policies will not be enforced.
ON Enable Istio RBAC for all services and namespaces.
ON_WITH_EXCLUSION Enable Istio RBAC for all services and namespaces except those specified in the exclusion field.
ON_WITH_INCLUSION Enable Istio RBAC only for services and namespaces specified in the inclusion field.

Disable Istio RBAC completely, any other config in RbacConfig will be ignored and Istio RBAC policies will not be enforced.

ON

Enable Istio RBAC for all services and namespaces.

ON_WITH_INCLUSION

public static final Mode ON_WITH_INCLUSION

Enable Istio RBAC only for services and namespaces specified in the inclusion field. Any other services and namespaces not in the inclusion field will not be enforced by Istio RBAC policies.

ON_WITH_EXCLUSION

public static final Mode ON_WITH_EXCLUSION

Enable Istio RBAC for all services and namespaces except those specified in the exclusion field. Any other services and namespaces not in the exclusion field will be enforced by Istio RBAC policies.

public static Mode[] values()

Returns an array containing the constants of this enum type, in the order they are declared. This method may be used to iterate over the constants as follows:

for (Mode c : Mode.values())
    System.out.println(c);

Returns:

an array containing the constants of this enum type, in the order they are declared

valueOf

public static Mode valueOf(String name)

Returns the enum constant of this type with the specified name. The string must match exactly an identifier used to declare an enum constant in this type. (Extraneous whitespace characters are not permitted.)

Parameters:

name - the name of the enum constant to be returned.

Returns:
