executeAsBlocking

public java.lang.Object executeAsBlocking()

Executes SQL Operation immediately in current thread.

Notice: This is blocking I/O operation that should not be executed on the Main Thread, it can cause ANR (Activity Not Responding dialog), block the UI and drop animations frames. So please, call this method on some background thread. See WorkerThread.

Returns:

just a new instance of Object, actually Execute SQL should return void, but we can not return instance of Void so we just return Object and you don't have to deal with null.

createObservable

public rx.Observable<java.lang.Object> createObservable()

Deprecated. (will be removed in 2.0) please use asRxObservable().

Creates Observable which will perform Execute SQL Operation and send result to observer.

Returned Observable will be "Cold Observable", which means that it performs execution of SQL only after subscribing to it. Also, it emits the result once.

Scheduler:

Operates on StorIOSQLite.defaultScheduler() if not null.

Returns:

non-null Observable which will perform Delete Operation and send result to observer. Result: just a new instance of Object, actually Execute SQL should return void, but we can not return instance of Void so we just return Object and you don't have to deal with null.
