                          throws NamingException

Create a new initial context.

Parameters:

environment - JNDI properties or null. In the latter case a default constructor of InitialContext will be called with standard JNDI lookup properties semantics.

Returns:

jndi context

Throws:

NamingException - if there was a JNDI error
