Interface Bootstrap<T extends Configuration>

Type Parameters:

T - The configuration class required by the application that is to be bootstrapped.

public interface Bootstrap<T extends Configuration>

Utility interface for bootstrapping an LDP4j Application. Using this class the application will be able to register the ResourceHandler instances and classes that make up the application.

Upon registration, the LDP4j Application Engine will analyze the templates defined by the resource handlers, discovering any additional resource handler not explicitly registered.

Retrieve the configuration of the application. The returned value will never be null.

Returns:

an instance of the configuration.

addHandler

void addHandler(ResourceHandler handler)

Register an initialized ResourceHandler instance of the application.

This method is to be used if and only if the resource handler requires a to be initialized in a controller manner. Otherwise, the resource handler class can be registered using the addHandlerClass(Class) method.

Parameters:

handler - the handler instance.

Throws:

NullPointerException - if the handler instance is null.

addHandlerClass

void addHandlerClass(Class<? extends ResourceHandler> handlerClass)

Register a ResourceHandler class that is used by the application.

This method is to be used if and only if resource handler instances do not require any special initialization. Otherwise, the an initialized resource handler instance can be registered using the addHandler(ResourceHandler) method.

Parameters:

handlerClass - the handler class.

Throws:

NullPointerException - if the handler class is null.
