imgReader - basic metadata for the image

The compression type set in the TIFF directory

the TIFF compression type

The number of strips in the image

Returns:

the number of strips in the image

loadOriginalData

protected boolean loadOriginalData()

Load the original TIFF data. This loads only strip 1 of the original TIFF data.
