EventSecretary Desktop is a PC application for managing event entries. The application is integrated with EventSecretary Online, to ensure that entries arrive at the Event Secretary with minimal effort for both the competitor and the secretary.

EventSecretary Desktop is provided as freeware for not for profit organisations. However all use must be approved by eventsecretary.org.au. If you would like to use EventSecretary applications and services please contact us at sales@eventsecretary.org.au.

Installation

Please follow these steps to install EventSecretary Desktop. If you have any troubles along the way please contact us at support@eventsecretary.org.au.

Microsoft Windows

  1. Click here to download the setup application.
  2. As you have downloaded an executable file please feel free to run your virus checker over the file.
  3. Run the setup application. (Double click on the file).
  4. EventSecretary Desktop requires Java 1.6 to be installed on your PC. The setup application will check for you. If you don’t have it installed it will prompt you to download and install it. (Don’t worry it’s free too).
  5. Once your installation is complete, have a quick read of the help manual. You can easily display the documentation using the link in Start|Programs|EventSecretary.
  6. Once you have had a quick read of the documentation, start the application using the either the EventSecretary short-cut on your desktop, of the link in Start|Programs|EventSecretary.
  7. If you want to register your event online, you must first obtain a registration code from jWeb. Please email sales@eventsecretary.org.au with the name of your event, the date entries close, and a contact number.
